March 2016 Favorites

March 2016 was packed with things that I loved, so I decided to make a list of my absolute favorites to share with you guys. From music to makeup, here are my #1’s from this past month.

I’ve never been a Bieber girl, but Justin’s “Love Yourself” has been stuck in my head all month. It’s nice to see JB really putting in an effort to clean up his act. The lyrics to this song seem to be universally relatable, as everyone has that one negative person in their life who just needs to go f*** themselves.

My fashion favorite for this month was not a difficult choice. Ever since I bought my Adidas Superstars on Amazon, I haven’t been able to take them off! They go with everything, and the best part is that they are SO. COMFORTABLE. If you’re looking for a good shoe to wear this spring, I would definitely consider these. They go with jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts, you name it, perfect for the unpredictable weather this Spring.

In March, my favorite cosmetic item had to be my Lanoliné Manuka Honey Night Recovery Creme. I’ve been in desperate need of a good nightly moisturizer, so I picked this up and gave it a try. It wasn’t very much money, so I wasn’t expecting much. I was really surprised at the quality of this moisturizer, as it didn’t clog my pores and really made my face feel so much smoother.

Over Spring Break, I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise. We left from Florida and went to Cozumel, Mexico and Costa Maya, Mexico. Once we got back to Florida, we drove to Orlando and went to Universal Studios. As a huge Harry Potter nerd, this was AMAZING. I’m not really sure if this trip qualifies as a “favorite,” as I only went on one trip, but it was really a highlight of my month.

In March, I FINALLY read Looking for Alaska by John Green. I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but once I started reading I couldn’t stop! I loved how realistic the relationship between Pudge and Alaska was, and it wasn’t a cookie cutter kind of love story. John Green books never seem to disappoint.

I’ve been using the app “VSCO” for a while, but in March I started using it as my primary filter app. My favorite filter is C1, as I think it really makes the colors in my photos pop. I also love how the social media aspect of the app excludes likes or visible follower counts, because it feels like genuinely sharing content to share content, not sharing content to see how many likes you can get.

So, those were my favorites of the month! I look forward to continuing to make these types of posts as more amazing products come into my life. What are your March favorites? Tell me in the comments below.
